| Comments | Thornbury Running Club opens its 3rd race of the year, the Oldbury 10 miler enabling those that completed the Rollick & 10K to pick up the 3rd and final part of the medal All numbers to be collected from the Power Station on the day of the race. A relaxed, hassle-free, but – for those who want it – very competitive road race over the flattest 10 miles you will ever run. We have set the date 2 weeks before the Bristol half marathon enabling people to have an indication of where they are if preparing for the half marathon The accurately measured course is on quiet figure of 8 on the outskirts of Thornbury where you will be well looked after by Thornbury Running Club’s friendly and encouraging marshals. Race HQ at Oldbury Power Station (BS35 1RQ) offers easy parking, as well as changing facilities but no showers . The Start is at Oldbury Power Station and will be chip timed. We are waiting confirmation if we are hosting the Avon Championship again this year , Mile markers are shown on the course Number swaps allowed to the 30/08 but after that no number swaps, anyone found running under a different name will be DisQualified | ||
