Win Stuff!

An exciting new draw was agreed by the committee at the meeting on the 25th March. The chairman (or deputy) will do the draw after training on the last Tuesday of each month in the Champions Bar, Hutton Moor Leisure Centre. Only fully paid-up members will be eligible for the prize which will be £50 of vouchers to spend at Easy Runner, Bristol. No member can win more than once in any 12 month period. The first draw will take place after training on Tuesday 27th May. There will be a special double draw for £50 vouchers on the evening of the club's 25th Anniversary Dinner to be held in October.

Annual General Meeting

The Weston A.C. Annual General Meeting takes place 7.30pm, Tuesday 15th April, at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre. Only fully paid-up members are eligible to propose committee members and vote at the meeting, but interested friends are welcome to attend.

Prom Run Series 2002-2003

Competitors please note that individual points are worked out from the best 6 of the first 8 races. April is the last race that will count for individual points. The 9th race (May) is excluded so that we can get the prizes out quicker on the night. However the Team prizes are worked out from all 9 races.

Weston AC Activity Weekend

Date tbc. Canoeing/Mountain Biking/Pony Trekking. The town of Llanwrtyd Wells is set in the Cambrian Mountains. The surrounding hills, valleys and rivers make it the perfect setting for outdoor pursuits. You will be staying in accommodation next to the warm and friendly Stonecroft Inn, where you will have all your meals, renowned for its real ales and good food. Price £135 per person to be subsidized by club. Contact Jim White.

See Calendar for details. The Club races this month are Taunton 1/2 / Full Marathon - London Marathon - Prom Run - Pub Series Wrington Run - Pensford 10k. Most important our AGM on Tuesday 15th at 7. 30 pm with FREE BUFFET !! (There will not be a Club Run that night ). Please note that we will be training back on the Grass at Hutton Moor on Tuesday 22nd. Also please get your names on Jim White's activity weekend sheet on our Notice Board .
