Just a note to say that entries on the day will be available for the Hangover 10km race on Jan 1st. Please allow plenty of time to register so aim to get to race HQ for 10.15am for an 11am race start.

NOTE: Please do not attempt to park between the village hall and the sea front as this creates safety issues for runners and pedestrians. Please therefore use the car parks at the Kewstoke village hall or on the sea front. Many thanks.

Congratulations to the WAC runners who participated in the Clevedon Boxing Day race.
First WAC runner across the line was Chris Pinchbeck (39th) in 23:33 with Kevin Minty (41st) and Bryan Morley (113th) the next two. First lady was Claudine Mercer (147th) in 27:05 with Jean McMillan (646th) the next lady home. Well done all! 805 finishers.

Congratulations to the WAC runners who participated in the Wellington Monumnet race on Sunday 21st December.
First WAC runner across the line was Mark Ashurst (17th) in 40.44 with Pete Clark (20th) and Rich Coleman (25th) the next two. The WAC men also scooped the 3rd Team Prize. Well done all! 193 finishers.

Well done to all WAC runners who took part in the December Prom. The finalised results have now been posted. First Male was Pete Clark (30:37 - 20th) and the first Female was Claudine Mercer in another PB(33:47 - 67th).

This is your opportunity to tell us what you like about the Cracker and what you think we could do differently. We really do value your input and as an added incentive, if you complete the survey, you could be in with a chance of gaining free entry into next years Cracker.

Thank you to all the participants in the December Prom Run. The weather wasn't kind to us but despite that we had over 200 runners competing.
A link to the provisional results is below. We seem to have a problem with competitors using numbers from previous races (we know who you are!). Can we remind all runners that new race numbers MUST be used for each race in the series. Please can you ensure that you pick up them up from race HQ (Pavillion Bar) before the start of the race. Runners not using the correct race number will be disqualified.

Note that there will be no Beach Interval training on Tuesday 16th December. Instead there will be a Festive Christmas Mystery Social Run from Hutton Moor. Open to all club members, meet at the leisure centre at 18.50 for a prompt start at 19.00 pm. The run will be followed by the draw for the two London Marathon club places.

Congratulations to the Weston A.C. runners who took part in the Street 5K on Wednesday 10 December. It was a very cold night and challenging first corner was made even harder with covering of ice. However, the first WAC man home was Rich Ford (20:08) while the first WAC lady was Naomi Eaton (21:05)

Congratulations to the 21 WAC finishers in the 2008 Brent Knoll 5.5 Mile Race on what was a very slippery course (isn't it always!). First male back home was Pete Clark in 43:45 (15th) with Teresa King being the first female in 52:06 (59th). There were 146 finishers.
