The Christmas Cracker 10km race is now FULL and no more entries will be taken. There are no entries on the day.

Eden Project Marathon Results

Congratulations to Liz Wiggins and Rachel Vincent who completed the 1st Eden Project Marathon on Sunday 11 October 2009. Liz Wiggins completed the distance in 3h 48m 34s and was 2nd LV35. Rachel Vincent completed her 1st marathon in 5h 26m 05s. Congratulations to both.

Please be aware that the basement of the race HQ at the Pavilion Bar has flooded due to a burst water pipe. Therefore, the race HQ will transfer to the upstairs bar. Unfortunately, this means there will be limited room for changing and is likely to be cosy!

You can now enter the Weston AC Prom Run Series via online entry. You can enter any number of races.

Mendip Muddle - Provisional Results

Many thanks to the hardy souls who braved the elements today and competed in the Mendip Muddle. Also, thanks go to the marshals and helpers from Weston AC and the Wrington RNLI for making the event such a success.

Please see below a link to to provisional results. We have a number of queries, namely at positions 111 (1h 53m 40s), 118 (1h 53m 57s) and 120 (1h 54m 50s). If your name is missing from the results and you think this could be you, please email the race organiser using the link below.

We also have a number of lost property items including a jacket and a pink watch. If you think these could be yours drop an email to the race organiser.

Mendip Muddle - Marshal & Volunteers - Final Update

Please see below links to the updated list of Muddle volunteers (RNLI & WAC) and a marshal location map. Please can I urge all those who have volunteered to help at the Muddle to print out these documents and alert me to any issues asap (07980 138920). Unless I have already met with you this week at training, can I ask all marshals to meet with David Broadbent or myself at the Charterhouse Centre at 9-9.30am on Sunday 11th October.
Runners will start arriving between 9 and 9.30am so can I ask that volunteers helping out around the start/finish/HQ areas arrive from 8.15am please.
Many thanks to everyone who has agreed to help as we couldn't host this race without your support.

We have now had 284 entries for the Mendip Muddle and we may reach capacity before race day so to be sure of getting a place please use the links below for online/paper entry forms. Please keep in view the current issues with the postal service and the threat of nationwide industrial action by postal workers. We suggest therefore using the online entry system to ensure your entry reaches us.

Deadline for postal entries has been extended to Saturday 10th October but we highly recommend using the online entry system.

ONLINE ENTRIES

Burnham-on-Sea Half Marathon Results

21 WAC runners turned out for the Burnham-on-Sea Half Marathon on Sunday 4 October. A warm sunny day ensured fast times and the first WAC runner home was Kevin Minty in 1h 22m 54s. Phillippa Stephens was the first WAC lady home in 1h 26m 23s. Many runners achieved Personal Bests over the fast and flat course.
