An amazing 50 Weston A.C. runners completed the Tough Ten on Sunday 22nd Feb. A link to the full results and WAC results is below. There's a slight query about a person listed as "Dean Mehenry" in position 576 (1h 25m 25s) as a WAC member. President's Breakfast Run - Message from Dave Jones

The Breakfast Run is taking place on SATURDAY 17th October 2009. I've held it on a Sat so that the cycling group can participate as well and it's a get together of both groups. We all meet up at Barton Camp at 10.30am for the breakfast prepared by Jan, ladies & anybody willing to help. Should anybody wish to sleep over they can do, as we are over there from Friday afternoon.

Cancelled Events - Latest Information

Longleat 10K: This has been rescheduled for Sunday 1 March 2009 and will start at the slightly earlier time of 09:00. There will also be a slightly modified course as the safari park will be open to visitors. Check the 209 Events website for further details.
Dursley Dozen: Unfortunately the 2009 Dursley Dozen has had to be cancelled as some of the landowners have not been keen on allowing access to the land on which the race is run. Details on the races refund policy please visit the Dursley Athletic Club website.

Meeting at Hutton Moor

Due to the large numbers of runners now meeting at Hutton Moor can we all please ensure that we keep thoroughfares clear, keep our noise to a minimum and allow access to the centres information displays so as not to cause a problem to their staff and other customers. Many thanks for your cooperation.

  • Dursley Dozen - please check the Dursely AC Website for further details or phone 01453 890463 for a recorded message. A decision on rescheduling the race will be made during the coming week.


  • Longleat 10k - Check the 209 Events website for further information - details on the rescheduled date will be passed on to runners soon.

    Please see below a link to the final Jan 2009 Prom results. Don't forget that the next Prom race is on Feb 19th at 7.30pm.
    Please note that all runners will be given a NEW race number in the Feb race. Pre-entries to collect from the table, anyone entering on night will need to register & collect a number.
    We have a number of lost property items left over from previous Prom races. If you are missing something please drop the Race Organiser an email using the link below with a description of what you have lost and a contact telephone number.

    Mayhill Massacre - Results

    Congratulations to Malcolm Gammon who appears to have been the sole representative of WAC at the Mayhill Massacre. Malcolm crossed the rather muddy line in 1h 03m 54s in 16th position overall (out of 469 finishers)and was the first MV50. Well done Sir!
