The Saturday session this week will be one that is and has been favoured by all the great distance runners over the years when speed training. It is of course the 400m repeats. Fancy feeling like one of the greats (Paula, Haile, Steve O, Paavo et al) then come on down to the Tropicana at 8:50am this Saturday morning. Don't worry it will be one or two less than the 100 that Paavo reputedly sometimes bashed out in a single session!

Mendip Muddle - We need your help!

Dear WAC

Your club needs you! The Mendip Muddle race is due to take place on Sunday 9th October and as usual we need your help to marshal out on the course, help with the race start/finish areas and around the race HQ in the Charterhouse Centre before, during and after the race. So, if you can spare just a few hours on this day, the club would appreciate your help. If you can help please email Bryan and Tony using the link below. As many of you know I am running a race in November in Oman. It covers 195km and over 6000ft of climb in five days across desert and sand dunes.
