The current provisional Prom Race team results for the 2012-13 series have been updated to reflect the results of the January 2013 race. The meet this week (26th) is Marine Lake at 8:00am. The session will be an LT run. Learn how to control your pace and improve your economy despite whatever the weather is throwing at you. All welcome as usual. See you there.

The next instalment of fun in the dark will be on Thursday 24th January from Bleadon Village Hall at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start. Hot refreshments and witty repartee will be available afterwards. 6 ish flat miles (!?!?).

A three course meal (link to menu is below) is provided as part of your ticket for £15 per head. Please give Dave Cowell your money in person and email your menu choices (select one item from each course) using the link below asap.

The deadline for the receipt of payment and menu choices is 1st February otherwise the closest you will get to the Awards Night is sipping cheap strong cider in one of the shelters on the Prom.

Further to a previous posting please find a link to an updated version of the provisional December 5 Mile Prom results. We discovered to our cost that moisture and race timing clocks don't mix well together and therefore there are lots of gaps. We have filled in the gaps with estimated times which are in red text. We would be grateful if all runners in that race could check their results and if there are errors then please get in contact using the email link below.

A big well done to David McMillan who ran the Avon and Somerset cross country schools championship and only went and won it, making him the Avon and Somerset schools champion! He goes into the South West championships on the 2nd March. Congratulations from everyone at WAC.

The session this week (12th) will be Tough Ten hill reps. The meeting points will be the entrance to the woods on Worlebury at 8am or the Water Tower at 8.05am. As always off-road shoes are optional. All welcome as ever.
