This Thursday is the first social run of the summer season. Paul Snelling has organised a 5 mile off-road run to see the Bluebells on Wavering Down. It will be hilly but well worth it, especially if you are not going to Tyntesfield 10k. There was a close run to the line between John Hinchliffe and Chris Gough, with nothing to separate them at the line, but John just getting the position before Chris.

Have you ever fancied learning to row? Well now is your chance!

The City of Bristol Rowing Club are holding a LEARN TO ROW taster session especially for Weston AC, in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. This will include a 30 minute onshore brief and tuition, plus 1 hour rowing in an 8 man boat with cox.

When: Saturday 11th May
Time: 1pm to 3pm
Location: Hotwells, Bristol
Cost: £20 per person

(If there are sufficient numbers, WAC have agreed to subsidise a minibus to and from the event)
