Congratulations to all the participants of the first 1 Mile Prom Run of the Series 2013-2014 on Thursday 26th September. It was a very successful start to the Series and we look forward to the success continuing for all over the coming year.

Just a reminder that the first races in the 2013-14 One and Five Mile Prom Race Series take place tonight. Don't forget to report to race HQ in the basement of the Pavilion Bar (2 Upper Church Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 2DT - near Knightstone Island) to pick up your race numbers. We have received a record number of pre-entries so please allow plenty of time before the race starts at 6.45pm (One Mile) and 7.30pm (Five Miles).

Just a reminder that the first races in the 2013-14 Prom Race Series take place on Thursday September 26th. Following the success of the trial 1 mile race series last season, this race distance is now a permanent fixture. Please remember that the races will normally take place on the fourth Thursday of each month and not the third Thursday as before due to the closure of the flood gates on the promenade at high tides. The exception to this rule is that the December race takes place on the 12th December. Details of both the 1 and 5 mile Prom Race Series can be found on the Weston Prom Run webpage, a link to which is below.

Pre-race entry to the Mendip Muddle (Sunday 13th October) is still open but places are filling up fast so register soon to be sure of a place in this very popular race.
