Unfortunately Berghaus cannot supply our order, which means I have had to source an alternative, in both colour, price and make. The 'RAB' brand is similar if not better quality, in dual colours, with the Ladies being Turquoise and Blue. Where as the Mens are two Blues. Both male and female garments are far more expensive than Berghaus, but I have been able to attain the same price as we were paying for the Berghaus ones. Added benefit with the RAB is they have small reflective marks on both cuffs and base of the neck.

Pre-race entry to the Mendip Muddle on Sunday October 12th 2014 has now CLOSED however you can still enter on the day. It would be most useful if you could complete a paper entry form (link below) in advance of attending the race and bring a cheque for £14, payable to Weston AC, to race HQ. Please allow plenty of time to pick up your race number and get to the start of the race at 11.00am sharp!

I had promised 2 further cross country races in this years championship. It was to be one race from three to count in this category. The final details of the Gwent league have now been announced and unfortunately the dates do not work for us. The first race is this Sunday clashing with the Muddle. The next one clashes with the Sodbury Slog (which many of you will have entered) and the December one clashes with the Cracker weekend. I want to give everybody the opportunity to gain points in this category so I am including the Bleadon levels 10K race to count in the cross country category. This is a local race put on by one of the supporters of the Cracker and was only left of the multi category because of a possible date clash.

I apologise for not being able to find a suitable alternative CC race but hope that you agree that this is a fair solution for a local race on a day when no other championship events are on. This means that this category will now be one race from two.

STOP PRESS : Please note that the details for the Bleadon Levels 10k have now been added to the Events Calendar and the Club Championship. This event has also been selected as a Grand Prix race so enter now for those extra 5 points!
