Last minute change to this weeks social run - new venue is the NEW CASTLE in Kewstoke. Please park away from the bar/shell shop area if you can, but congregate at 7pm at the entrance to the woods. Walking group is planned.

OK Mob-Matchers the time is nigh. Greville Smyth Park (next to the Bristol City Football Ground) 7.30pm. There is no need to register or get a number, just proudly wear your colours. Please be at the start area by 7.10pm and give your name to Gerry Hope (Team Vice-Captain) on arrival. Will be arranging lifts for those who have already let me know they need one. Please be reminded that the Christmas Cracker 10k race is the only WAC race not open to Weston AC members to enter.

We need the support of all club members for a wide range of organisation and marshalling roles, and we ask that everyone volunteers their time on the day to help make the race a fun, enjoyable and safe experience for the Cracker participants.

This year the Cracker will be held on Sunday 7th December, so please put this date in your diary.

If you are unavailable on race day, please volunteer to attend at the 'Stuffing Party', and help us prepare the participants' race packs. This will take place in early November, (exact date to be confirmed).

You can still run the Cracker route! All volunteers are invited to take part in the 'Not Cracker' on Saturday 6th December. This is an opportunity to run the Cracker 10k route in festive fancy dress with prizes awarded for the best dressed. It's a fun social run for all standards of runners and is followed up by full english breakfast as a big thank you to club members for giving up their time.

Our new Cracker Committee member Vanessa Andrews will be organising this years Cracker volunteers. It's a big challenge trying to coordinate 100+ volunteers, so please make her life easier by volunteering now using the email link below. Please state what hours you are available to help on Sunday 7th December between 7am and 1pm.
