Please extend a warm welcome to new club member Lisa Simpson.

This is a social event for club members to come and relax in the Somerset countryside, bring a picnic / bar-b-que, the children and your Swimming costume. There's a heated pool! Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available on site.

You can even stay overnight if you wish as there is plenty of room, but you'll need a sleeping bag.

I hope to arrange a country walk and for the more energetic a run. I need HELP to organise the run and course and it would be much appreciated as Paul is away for that weekend. We need a leader!

ALL are welcome, and Jan and I will be at the camp throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The use of the Camp has been offered to us as a thank you for supporting the Bristol Children's Help Society so generously with our donations raised at the Hangover 10K, Prom Runs and the club generally.

This does not effect the Presidents Breakfast Run which will take place as previously arranged later in the year.

Hope you can pay a visit and enjoy yourselves, even if it's just a cycle out to the camp.

Decided to give you a little more warning this year. Once again the Mob Match is upon us and I am sure there are plenty of you who would wish to represent your club at this annual event. Last year was the first time we entered a team and I think i can say that without exception each and everyone of our 20 strong team thoroughly enjoyed themselves. This year it has been added to the Road Championship under the 10k category. It is free to enter, all you need to do is register with Sara Weaver or myself, your Team Captains, on the night. It would also be helpful if you could add your name to the race details page on the club championship. More details nearer the time, many thanks Jamie T.

This Tuesday is the Beacon Batch Race. This is a cracking race through some of the best scenery Somerset has to offer; from Burrington Combe to Beacon Batch (at 1000ft the highest point in the Mendips) and back again. Entry is only £6:00: here

Please remember the new race HQ at the Burrington Inn, the start is a short walk away and the race starts at 7:30pm. Could all marshals arrive 6:30 to 6:45pm.
