Last Saturday Teresa Daniel and Gerry King competed in the 8 hour Dynamic Adventure Race on the Quantocks, braving thunder, lightning and hail! They were 4th overall and 1st team (entered as Team Quest) visiting 30 of the 36 checkpoints in the allocated 8 hours. Visit Website.

Sunday 12th June - Breakfast run up on the Mendips. Meet 8.30am at the Swan Rowberrow followed by breakfast at Shipham cafe.
Saturday 16th July - Camping weekend in Dorchester to include the Maiden Castle Loop Race (6 1/2 miles on tracks and roads).
Saturday 30th July - Paintball at Hamburger Hill near Bristol. 9.00-5.30 12/18 games to include tea/coffee and meal.

Weston Prom Run

The final race in the 2004-2005 series runs on Thursday, 19th May, at 7:30pm. Race HQ is the Cabot Bars on the sea front. Presentations for the series will take place after the race. Note that individual series winners are already decided, but this race will count towards team scores.

Programme for May 2005

Club Championship races this month are Great West Run (1st), Keynsham 10K (8th), Weston Prom Run (19th), Bideford 10K (22nd), Burrington Blaster (26th), Bath Hilly Ten (28th) and Wells 5K (29th). Interval Training now moves to the Grass for the summer months; we continue to meet at Hutton Moor, but will train at Drove Road. The summer social events kick-off on Thursday 5th with a Social Run & Buffet from the Castle Bistro at Kewstoke. Please see Calendar for other details.
