Camping Weekend

There is a change of venue for the camping weekend on July 8/9th. Not Wood Farm as previously advised, but Manor Farm Holiday Centre, Manor Farm, Charmouth, Dorset, DT6 6QL. Tel 01297 560226. Coach Trip to Sidmouth

We are arranging a coach trip to the Sidmouth Festival 10K on Sunday 13th August. Leaving 8:00am and returning 8:30pm. Cost of coach is funded by the club. Plan to have pub lunch and paddle after race. Club members and partners/family/friends are welcome. We need to find level of interest as soon as possible. 2. Winner of the Giant Budgie Bimbling Bell for sustained, on the flat speed - Lady Marcella Salter
3. Winner of the Blue Riband Event, the Mountain climbing Champion, and recipient of the prestigous and sought after Barbie Honking Horn, Sir Peter Telford, for a magnificent display of sustained but controlled power whilst climbing the worst Mountain of the week.

Programme for May 2006

Our Club Championship races this month are Keynsham 10K (14th), Weston Prom Run (18th), Burrington Blaster (25th), Bath Hilly Ten (27th) and Long Ashton 10K (28th). Interval Training reverts to the grass at Hutton Moor from Tuesday 2nd. The summer social season begins on Thursday 4th with a hilly wooded wander from the Old Colonial. Race for Life 5K - Weston-super-Mare

Women-only fundraising event on Sunday 7th May starting at 11:00am. Visit Website.
For all volunteer marshals there is a briefing at the organisers caravan on the beach at 9:30am. All those helping to mark the course meet at the Tropicana 8:00am. Over 3900 entrants to date. Could do with a few more helpers please. Contact Roger Hart.
