Weston A.C. invite you to the Hangover 10K. This is our 10K road race which runs on New Year's Day around the lanes of Kewstoke and Sand Bay (near Weston-super-Mare). Entries will be available on the day. Click here for Runner Information Sheet.
We ask that you do not park on the road between the village hall and the beach. This is for your own safety and safety of others and provides emergency access whilst the race is in progress. There is car parking at the hall or please use car parks on the sea front.

We have now decided the first of our 2008 championship races.The 2007 season concludes this month with the Weston Prom Run (20th), Wellington Monument (23rd) and Clevedon Boxing Day 4M (26th).

A festive Curry Night is planned for Thursday, 20th December. After the Prom Run. Contact Rob Morgan.

We have a new Race HQ for the Weston Prom Run. From the next race on 20th December we will be based at the Pavilion Bar, 2 Upper Church Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 2DT. The bar faces out on to Weston Sea Front and is only a short distance from our previous Cabot Bars location. The route will be changed very slightly, so that the start and finish area is directly in front of our new venue. Start time will be 7:30pm as normal.

Our regular Interval Training session on Tuesday, 18th December will be replaced with a special 'Festive Fun Circuit'. Meet at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, 7:00pm as usual.

We have secured 3 Club Positions for the London Marathon. These will be drawn from the hat on Tuesday, 18th December on the night of our special 'Festive Fun Circuit', which Neale has organised for us all. To qualify for the draw you have to:
1. Have been unsuccessful in the normal entry ballot.
2. Have been a current member for at least 1 year.
If you want to go into the draw, when you know if you have been rejected from the normal ballot simply email Malcolm or put your name on the form which will be posted on our notice board. Come along on Tuesday 18th to see who gets them.

There have been a number of enquiries as to whether tomorrow's Cracker is going ahead, following forecasts of rain & high winds. We confirm the race will go ahead as planned and look forward to seeing you all.
