| Notes | The object of the run/race is to encourage new and old members of Weston AC to take part in off-road runs and introduce them to the wonders Mendip Hills. Race HQ - Burrington Inn (BS40 7AT) at Burrington Combe. Please park in the bottom car park. The race start will be at the top of the Link Way road which is opposite the car park (please allow 10 minutes to get to the start point). The course - Six miles long with two miles up, two miles down and two miles flat. There will be two water stations. The current course records are held by: Men - Bryan Morley 50m 21s Ladies - Liz Wiggins 54m 57s Awards - For first male and female members and age categories. All abilities are welcome with the main award - i.e. a pair of shoes (provided by the club) awarded in a raffle for all finishing members of the race/run/walk. Free breakfast for all members ( others to pay ) at the Burrington Inn after the event, so long as you finish before 12 noon.
