| Comments | The object of the run/race is to encourage new and old members of Weston AC to take part in off-road runs and introduce them to the wonders of the Mendip Hills. Race HQ - Burrington Inn (BS40 7AT) at Burrington Combe. Please park in the bottom car park. The race start will be at the top of the Link Way road which is opposite the car park (please allow 10 minutes to get to the start point). The course - Six miles long with two miles up, two miles down and two miles flat. There will be two water stations. Awards - For first male and first female and age categories. All abilities are welcome with the main award - i.e. a pair of shoes (provided by the club) awarded in a raffle for all finishers of the race/run/walk. Breakfast will be provided at the Burrington Inn after the event, (so long as your finish before 12 noon). Just add your name to this event page or send Jim / Sue an email so there's plenty of food! | ||
