Wyvern Christmas Cracker - lost property
Hello runners and well done everyone. I collected a few items of lost property around the college. If you wish to claim these please email me asap. If you don't let me know you want your stuff back it will end up in a Weston Hospicecare charity shop!
[
E-mail Liz Green about lost property]
Contrary to a message relayed on BBC Radio Bristol this morning, the Cracker race is definitely ON and will start at 11am as normal.
Saturday 04 December 2010
A big thank you to Ginge for arranging a fantastic festive run followed by a great breakfast!! Some great outfits which seemed to be appreciated by passers-by!
A big THANK YOU to all members who ran the Not-Cracker this morning and most of all the effort everyone put into the festive spirit - FANTASTIC FANCY DRESS!!
Pam Withers, in her impressive Christmas tree outfit ( by the way you dropped a bauble Pam ) and Steve Baxter's sexy fairy outfit won the best dressed runners. Well done to you both.
Thanks to Pete Bartlett for making a sign for the occasion - impressive!
See you all tomorrow!!

Important
Christmas Cracker Race Sunday 5th December.- THE RACE IS STILL ON
Please note that whilst most of the country is fighting it's way through many inches of snow, Weston has been relatively unaffected. Therefore we have every intention of allowing the race to go ahead as planned. The current forecast is for slightly better temperatures on Sunday but we will continue to monitor the situation and if anything changes a note will be posted on this website.
I vote that Josh has to carry a bag of coal as an additional handicap...also dont forget to tell Shortcut where to start as well as finish! ;o)
As part of the Tuesday night speed sessions, the club will be organising a 5K handicap race for WAC club members every 2nd Tuesday of the month.
The route has been accurately measured starting at the Pier and follows the prom towards Uphill with the turn around being the same as the prom race. It then returns past the pier and onto the Cove restaurant. Here you will return back past the pier and finish several yards beyond it. Do not worry you will be told exactly where the finish is on the night!
Club members who wish to take part can either meet as usual at Hutton Moor or meet at the Pier at approx 7.20pm.
At the first race on Tuesday 7th December everybody will start at the same time so that times are obtained. (this is termed the scratch run in the race handicap world!). These times will then allow us to calculate your handicap for the next race.
What is a handicap race?
It is designed to level the playing field by adjusting everyone's start time based on their current 5K fitness. For example, if one person runs a 35 minute 5K and another runs a 20 minute 5K the faster runner would start 15 minutes after them.
In theory everyone will cross the finish line together but it rarely works out exactly. It is a great concept and a great motivator when you know you could beat someone in the club that normally you would never beat in a million years!
Hope you come and support the session.
Regards
Ian Carpenter
There is no precedence to this situation as no other race has been rescheduled, they have all been cancelled. Rather than have the debate via the message board can you let either Dave or myself have your views via e mail or at the Cracker on Sunday. We will post the decision next week. Options are to include or exclude the race in January as a part of this years Championship series.
E Mail details are on the contact page.
Thursday 02 December 2010
And the rough 'n' tumble in jan this year, if is canceled then it just doesn't count, can't be having a 2010 championship in 2011
Was a precedent set last year when Wellington was cancelled due to the weather?
Bribery and corruption...excellent! is FIFA now running WAC as well?
OK the decision goes to the benefit of whoever pays me the most....
Some runners are destined for great things. Indeed, some runners are destined to become legendary figures. Some runners however surpass legendary status. Men or women achieving back to back "Barry Hotlegs" are not normal runners, they are running Gods. It is time to bow before the great Disco. Hail Disco! Hail Disco!
forgot about the championship points...also congratulations to Disco on winning back to back Barry Hotlegs's. A fine achievement. If Mrs Disco allows I hope you will be up for the battle next year seeing as you will on a hat trick.
It goes on Disco, the race, the race is not over...
I vote we count the January race in the championship. It's my only chance of fending off Chris for 5th place!
I was really looking forward to my curry aswell!
Relax Bryan...you've got it won anyway...
Cheers for the message Josh. It does however throw up the question about whether the postponed date for the race counts in the 2010 Championship or not? Is this one for Malcolm perhaps?
Message on Bospool website says Burnham 5K scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to icey conditions and will be run instead on Thursday 6th January 2011....so that's no pb's curry or beer then..

Well done Victor, second MV40 in the Somerset Series, despite being injured and out of action for a couple of months!
A new champ! after yesterday at Brent Knoll, Mr Muddle takes the crown...congrats Bryan, a great year for you
**** The Not Cracker ****
09:00 Saturday 4 December
The Grand Pier
Why not get into the festive mood and join us for the Not Cracker, this Saturday?
No? Ba Humbug!
YES!! then come and join fellow club members to run the Cracker route. A Christmas flavour / fancy dress is essential to put a smile on our faces ready for the challenges of Sunday. We will return to town to freshen-up/change, so bring a change of clothes, wet flannel, wet wipes and then warm up with a full English breakfast in the Nook and Harbour about 11am ( any special food requests please let me know before otherwise you might starve! )
If you saw me last Tuesday then youre in, if you didnt, let me know ASAP so I can get numbers right. Entries on the day may mean sharing a sausage (oooo errr misses) so see me soon.
Thanks

Nick not on list - he is happy to marshall sea front/finish
Saturday 27 November 2010
If Matt's getting a bit fast then maybe it'll be a good idea if he does break a leg! Sorry Matt ;)
Friday 26 November 2010
Pete. Even 50 lumens might not be enough for Matt if he turns up. The boys on fire ! He was certainly dishing out the punishment last night, pace was so hot that certain runners could'nt speak !
Re night running head torches...
Disco, Rich C is right, and the Gamma torch at 12.50 looks like it could be a good option. Anyone thinking about embarking on our pre xmas Xtreme Massive night run must ensure that their torch supplies sufficient light for safety. I'd reccomend one that offers 50 lumens +, like the Petzl Tikka Plus 2, available from Sports Direct at 35. Might seem a lot of dough but better than breaking a leg! No offence to Victor, his torch may even be bright enough but I don't know the specs.

Hi Everyone. Very shortly you will see the Cracker Volunteer list appear on the welcome page. Please could you have a look at it to see where you are on the day. There are three pages and they detail (in long columns) before, during and after the race. You will probably see your name appear more than once!
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to be chippies, strippers, pie men, bag ladies etc.
You will see there are still lots of question marks, for jobs stil to be filled.
If you haven't come forward yet, please don't be shy, we would love your help and its a great day, for you and your family. With over 2000 runners, the more people we have out there, the better.
I have tried to attend all club sessions for the past couple of months, but there are still a few people I have not managed to see, I hope you won't be offended but I've attached a list to the welcome page. Please could you contact me just so that I know where we are. If you are a new member and you entered the race before joining, then could you just let me know so that I can cross you off my list.
Please feel free to contact me about any of the roles, or the day, either by email, or on 07540 823017
Thanks a lot........11 days to Cracker day......Can't wait, great fun :)
Well that went down well ! Just told Hilary that I'm going up into the woods in the dark with two other guys and a light on my head - She just smiled !
Rich, watch this space. Pete and i have plans to organise night run the thursday before xmas. Full details to follow.
Victor Hugging Trees ? - Just the thought makes me smile !
Just a thought though, PB and her mates from BAD tri regularly organise Blair Witch Running sessions - Would make a change from the club loop ?
Headtorch available at Wilkinsons and only 3.50. OK for looking at stop watch but not much good for running across Mendips at night unless you like hugging trees!
You may find that the headtorch modelled by Victor is only bright enough for the slower runner ! Do a search for Alpkit Gamma for a decent running headtorch at an affordable price. They even do a pink one if your that way inclined. Alpkit stuff is brilliant and its post free.
Tuesday 23 November 2010
Disco , headtorch i modelled tonight is available from local electrical wholesaler for 5.oo. Let me know if interested i will get you one.
Pete, i've asked Santa for a new headtorch so i can join in with your new brand of Mendip massive madness!
Disco - well done, you are proof of the benifits of massive training! Next step do it in the dark (running).Victor, Josh and I have something up our sleeves...
14 members of WAC battled it out on the "Circuit de Cheddar" F1 track last night. The red mist was in the eyes of all the racers as they tried every means possible to make the podium at the end of the evening.
Final results were
1st Nick Gifford (ringer brought in by Paul at last moment)
2nd Ian Carpenter
3rd Tracy Lewis
The FIA are investigating the tactics used by one respected member of WAC. "Dick Dastardly" Carpenter whose actions resulted in the race favourite (me!) coming 4th. This means a lifetime ban from Kart racing may be imposed!
Especially well done to the ladies Rachel & Marcella who battled well all night.
Thanks to Paul for a great evening.
Monday 22 November 2010
way to go disco, great pb effort
Well done Disco, cracking time. Hope you haven't tired yourself out for the Knoll!
Does anyone have an e-mail address for Tony Sperrin, he gave it to me b4 going on holiday and ive misplaced it!
A huge well done to Disco for an outstanding PB achievement at the weekend; sterling effort Dave (v.jealous!!).
Can't believe how well I ran on Thursdays prom. Shame I'm not going to be able to give it another go for a while!!
Cheers Bryan, am well pleased, though much thanks goes to Matt for running a nice even pace for me to hang onto, and to the people cheering me up the final hill at 9 miles which was pure pain!
Good effort at Wimborne Disco. Getting under the 1h 10m mark is a great effort and you should be proud of your achievement.
Sunday 21 November 2010
I'm sorry for the short notice, but I'm gutted that I won't be able to make the go-carting on Monday night. Sorry. Hope you all have a great night.

Saturday 20 November 2010
Disco, we'll have to get near him first. I suggest tying his laces together at the start line. It's our only hope.
Josh, you don't look like you're enjoying the mud in the photos. Check mine out. They caught me at the moment my knee gave out.
Rich you will be missed, enjoy your run with the dentally challenged ironman. He is always welcome to join us i would try to keep up..
Friday 19 November 2010
Martin & Disco, Check out the Slog photo's.Puddles are my speciality, bring on the Knoll!
The Massive, see you for worship Sunday am.
Martin, don't mind teaming up to make sure Josh ends up in a very big puddle! ;o)
Next stop, sub 32 mins 30, Marc.
Shame about Brent Knoll. If I can catch Josh, I'll have a go at him instead.
Thanks Martin, it was only a few seconds faster but enough to put me under the magic 33mins, oh and within striking distance of your PB! :-)
Shame about the knee playing up, I'm not going to make Brent Knoll though (too scared you might trip me up again!)
Victor, Apologies but I've already promised a mate from Bristol that I'd go up for a run with him on Sunday. I will be out soon though !
Victor, my recent lack of outings on a Sunday has lead to me becoming more Massive than Mendip lately, so I do plan to join you folks this Sunday for the run.
Once again a very successful prom race last night. Thanks to everyone who came along and helped with the organisation of the race your support is very much appreciated. Thank you also to the 241 runners who came along and competed in the race. Hopefully the mild and calm conditions helped you achieve the times you were aiming for.
Marc, brilliant time last night. Well done. I'd hoped to come along and trip you up as at Sodbury, but something came up at work and my knee is still dodgy. Will be back to get you at Brent Knoll all being well.
Thursday 18 November 2010
The grumpy one from the mendips is planning breakfast run this sunday 8.30 the Swan, Rowberrow. If anyone fancies experiencing 8 ish country miles and slap up brekkie at Shipham cafe please feel free to join us.
Tuesday 16 November 2010
Thanks Disco, in view of your kind comments I mave retracted my request for your disqualification for wearing white socks and no poppy ;-O)
Kira, can you give those trainers to Josh please, but replace the insoles with lead...he's getting too quick! Good slog Josh well done mate!
Hi Simon
Thanks for the tip. Results now updated and message on Welcome Page updated. Well done Cheryl....excellent time.
Monday 15 November 2010
Hi Bryan,
Looks like Mrs V got left off the points table. I had to do the quick step to stop her from beating me, so I suppose that deserves a mention.
251 01:20:58 Cheryl Valentine
Cheers Victor, a very enjoyable battle but to be fair Mr Muddle was coming off a triple marathon ultra weekend and still pipped me with 1/4 of a mile to go. More lessons required methinks but you never know - this time next year!
Josh, well done me babbers looks like we taught you well. You will beat him next time.
Saturday 13 November 2010
Anyone want a pair of size 8 Asics Gel DS Trainers - can have them for free - Very light weight ideal for neutral runner or for racing purposes. Need insoles nearly new - Nick is not planning on racing on the road ever again! let me know
Friday 12 November 2010
Hi Pete, I can put them on the welcome page but the Street 5km runs are not part of the club championship so won't feature in the club championship pages unfortunately. Great times though! An inspiration to all of us slow coaches!
**** Gwent Cross-Country League - CANCELLED - 14 Nov ****
Anyone planning on participating in the Gwent Cross-Country League meeting at Bath on Sunday 14th November - please note I have received an email to advise this has been CANCELLED.
Brian, Not sure how to upload my reults. I ran Street 5 k on Nov 10 in 17:38 and before on Oct 13th in 18:01. Please can you stick them on if necessary? Thanks, Pete.

Free swims at Esporta - if you fancy 3 free passes to Esporta pool in Weston (includes use of sauna/steam room/jacuzzi) Google 'British Gas Swimming' & get your free vouchers (select 'I am a British Gas customer' even if you are not, I'm not & it doesn't make any difference). You need to use them by the 30 Nov though. Nice for a freebie, we went today!
Tuesday 09 November 2010
Apologies to The Massive for any offence caused. PS; a note of caution to others ..... NEVER question The Massive!!
Monday 08 November 2010
Vodka...Mr Muddle can "aspire" to join the Massive but membership is earned not given...he has to earn his spurs like the rest of the noobs...past glories count for nothing in the Massive!
Thanks Vodka, amazing scenery, great atmosphere and very tough terrain. All in all a great 3 days. Highly recommended to all nutters like me! See you at training on Tuesday night.
Congratulations Bryan - fantastic achievement. Me thinks you could almost be up to venturing out with the Mendip Massive at this rate!!
What's all the fuss about these ere Massive runs? Walk in the park. You'll be putting people off sampling our relaxing scenic strolls on a sunday boys. Come on, thatchers, blackthorn, Swan, Cheddar route.
Final results from Pemobrokeshire Coastal Challenge...Bryan finished 3rd overall and 1st in his category, completing 3 marathons in 4:43 5:00 and 5:17...giving a total time of 15:00
Congratulations Bryan
Saturday 06 November 2010
News from Pembrokeshire coastal challenge for the clinically insane... Bryan is 5th overall, 4th man and first in his category (Vet) after marathon #1of three this weekend...utter madness! But good going Mr Muddle, keep it up!
Friday 05 November 2010
If you find two tall, skinny(ish) blokes tied to the trig you know what to do :-O)
If I survive the excesses of a Charity Ball on Saturday night I might just drag myself upto BlackDown on Sunday morning for some fresh air (with a possible donation to the Mendip Gods thrown in for good measure)
...ahh yes the initiation, suspenders, tub of goose fat and a feather boa...and that's just for Victor...can't wait! Bring on the hills!
Disco, like you I feel I have yet to pass out to the full ranks of the massive. I think one needs to complete a full winters training programme on them there hills to qualify and then there's the initiation ceremony...
However, it's been a tough week and I could do with a laugh so I shall see you and Shortcut there tomorrow am.
Disco you have a lot to learn in the ways of the massive, Pete ,Andy and i will take you to Cheddar when you feel up for it.. 16 miles and Pinney sleight.
Blackdown was never a problem , but blackthorn is a different thing altogether.
Andy, as you can see, I have a lot to learn...do the gods of Blackdown like recycled pizza and copious quantities of rum?
Marc, i'll text you tonight with a plan but i'm thinking 9:00ish at the Swan...full 13.11 massive route (shortcuts optional!)
Disco, you woooss... A hangover is no reason not to venture out onto the Mendip hills. As Josh, Neil and Pete C will testify, paying homage to the Gods of BlackDown by kneeling and offering the contents of last nights drinking session at the trig is not something the Massive are averse to.
Disco, although not technically part of the 'massive' I'm staying in Churchill tonight so I was planning a little jog over the hills tomorrow. Let me know when and where!
Any of the massive fancy a Saturday Mendip jaunt? planning on a huge hangover on Sunday so need to get the long run in a bit early! ;o)

Once you have uploaded your album to the web let me know the address and I can transfer to my album for sharing out.
I say Mr Muddle, you mentiond a pgoto sharing site on tuesday night for the Muddle photos that I have, and I can't remember the name. Any chance of a reminder.

Cracker helpers
Sorry, Lesley, but Peter has a meeting at Heathrow that morning so can't help, if he attends, which I think he will.
Why no mention of the OMM in the events calendar? Yes, I did it and yes, I'm back.
Monday 01 November 2010
More pics of me enjoying myself! Thanks Jim!
Sunday 31 October 2010
Hi Niki
Go into the Charleswhittonphotography site. Look at the stagger section and you should see that there are 3 files. You want the Stagger on Dunkery Hill file. You are on sheet 5 pictures MS0437.0438 0439.
Cheers Jim
Thanks Josh, I found a photo of me coming into the finish checking my watch! Shame it wasn't on the Beacon, but I've e-mailed it to my brother in Oz all the same. Cheers!
This us for disco from Pete.
disco, i reckon that is right cos we repeated the climbs several times.my garmin doesnt have that facility.
Nikki
If you google Charles Whitton Photography they are on there. Won't let me post the link here.
:-O)
Could anyone post the link for the Stagger photos? I've Googled it to death but no luck, perhaps it's an omen... it is Haloween...
Many thanks to all the Walnut Tree gang for a very enjoyable run to Crooks Peakthis morning.
Good run this morning, thanks Pete for waiting for me..my Garmin logged 2948ft of ascent..that cant be right can it? what did yours log?
Saturday 30 October 2010
A very big thank you to all those members and their wives who came along and helped out at the Christmas Cracker "stuffing" party last night. Due to the fantastic support we had, the task was finished in record time even though we were dealing with over 2000 entries.
The food, company and humour kept us all going and made it even more enjoyable. Well done everyone!!
Friday 29 October 2010
Pete / Disco. I'm not likely to be there on Sunday.
Everyone knows that the camera doesn't lie! I'll be at the Swan on Sunday to start working off the flab...question is, will you Victor? Or will it be another weekend at home with your knitting and a warm rug on your knees?
Disco having seen picture of you at Exmoor , seems that you have piled the pounds on and struggle to run so i would leave criticsm of Pete's navagational skills to a minimum.
Pete, do you need directions? sure you wont get lost? ;o)
Swan 8:30 sunday for anyone who's up for 13 miles ish, see you there.
Wednesday 27 October 2010
Pete B (clash city), Thanks for your message below. What a plonker I am. I would'nt have won anyway but was in a handy 2nd place when I decided to get lost.Cheers.
Exmoor Stagger Photos are on Hutton Moor Notice board, please take your photo at any time.
Also 1 LAST BAG waiting to find a new owner, not bad since April!!!

My apologies to Pete Clark for yesterday if I had been a bit quicker I would have shouted you had gone the wrong way, by the time I realised you had long gone. My quickness of thought is about the same as my running I'm afraid. I hope youre not too disapointed Pete, I'm sure you could have won the Stumble, maybe next year.
PB
Hi Kira, I actually had a pass for the Stagger. As you so delightfully put it, my gentleman's vegetables would be roasted on a hot open fire if I did as many races in 2011 as I have done this year. As it is I am close to death with man flu! Sympathy required and I am sure all men in the club can empathise at just how serious man flu can be.
Sunday 24 October 2010
Bryan you went to Exmoor today..... i thought you said your nuts will be roasted if you don't watch it!!! - apologies if anyone feels offended on my wordings....

Google "Metabolic Factors Limiting Performance in Marathon Runners" and you should find a research paper by Benjamin Rapoport which tells you how to avoid the dreaded "wall" in your next marathon...
Rich C,
I'm afraid I don't know anyone meeting that description, but I'm a recently qualified Circuit Training and 'Indoor Cycling' instructor, so if anything comes up in that department, please shout! I'm still waiting for some certification to come through before I can be REPS and insured, but should be ready in a few weeks.
Cheers, Pete. 07541 496546
Thursday 21 October 2010
Well done and thanks to all the hardy runners that took part in tonight's Prom Race.
A big thank you again to all of the helpers that turned out to make it another successful race.
We look forward to seeing you all again next month
Wednesday 20 October 2010
Rich, what sort of commitment are you looking for, i have a friend who is a qualified yoga teacher, its not her day job so not sure if she would want to take too much on and could only do evenings. let me have a few details and i can see if she would be interested.
Hi Rachael
I can see the problem with the coffin dodger bonus points. I have dropped Matt a note to ask him to look into it as it's a programming issue by the look of it. Watch this space!
Anyone know of a qualified ( or working towards qualification ) yoga or aerobics instructor who is looking for work ?
Tuesday 19 October 2010
Not too sure who does the points tally (not that it will make a huge difference to me) - I need a coffin dodger point adding to Prom race please.
would ewe believe it!
Oh dear, to all those who entered the Cardiff Half. Check out this article!

Its a sad day when once great athletes have to resort to outright cheating...obviously i'm referring to Mr Contador ;o)
I have just done a quick check and i appear to be 150 championship points adrift, can you rectify a.s.a.p.
Dear Club Members
We are now at the sharp end of the club championship and therefore ask all club members to check over the results recorded against their names for this season in the "Club Championship" page. For the marathon runners out there please check that your time (fastest!) is listed in the "marathon event" (at the bottom of the page) as this is more difficult for the Web Team to track. Even if you don't consider yourself to be "in the hunt" for some "silverware" (I use that term loosely of course!) at the awards night it is important that your results are listed as it could have a bearing in the overall results for others. Please therefore drop the web team an email (details on the contacts page) with your updates. Many thanks.
Bryan,
Sorry I didn't spot you. I lost sight of you once we left the stadium. I don't know about 'in the zone'. More like 'in agony'. I'm planning on spending the rest of the day walking like a penguin.
Hi Martin
I did call out to you just outside Tilsley Park but you were in the "zone" as your gaze was firmly fixed on Shorty who was about 20 yards in front of you. Congratulations to you both on your times.
Sunday 17 October 2010
Some great performances today...big pb's for Martin and Marc at Abingdon, pb's for Linda and Matt (sub 1:30!) and also Ian, John and Sean at Cardiff half...and Victor made it till 10:30 without moaning...well done everyone!
I'm assuming Mr Morley had a good one at Abingdon this morning. He was nowhere to be seen when the rest of us came in. Probably half way up the M4 by then.
Saturday 16 October 2010
Thanks, Paul, for a really good run this morning. It was a great route with lots of new footpaths and not too much of the hilly stuff or mud. I loved the fry-up so thanks to the cooks and to the President.
Friday 15 October 2010
Hmmm! 25 mins the wrong way...at 7 min miles...yep that sounds about right ;o)
Good luck to all going to Abingdon / Cardiff / wherever this weekend...
I might see how long I can hang on to your coat tails for - it depends on what you're aiming for? It also depends on how excited I get at the start and whether or not I set off at a ridiculously unsustainable pace as per usual
OK, Marc. Who's pacing who?!?
Hi Martin,
Thank's for the offer it's really appreciated. We're staying in Witney though and looking at the map it would send you about 25 minutes in the wrong direction, you don't really want to be messing about on racing morning doing that!
Thanks for offer but I'll just meander down.
See you on the start line!
Marc, I'm heading down to the Abingdon area tomorrow afternoon and staying over with friends near Didcot. I can give you a lift down if you're still planning to stay the night before, but if not I'll see you there Sunday morning.
Thursday 14 October 2010

I will be down to training in the bar early with my various lists. (I'll be the one in the corner drinking vodka!)
I have the Prom volunteer list for next Thursday. We would appreciate as many helpers as possible due to the prom being interrupted by Enduro activity.
I also have the Cracker volunteer list, which is coming together quite nicely! Still got lots of space for volunteers as Strippers, Chippers, Pushers, Bag ladies, T shirters and Marshals.
Please come and get your name on a list.
These events support our club. Please step forward, don't be shy!

Gareth that looked awesome! Where do I sign up? Gotta have a go at that...nice landing too ;o)
Gareth, that looked scary!
You know what I meant, it should be skydiving!
I am pleased to announce that the video of me falling out of a plane is now available on Youtube. Just search Gareth Hiscock skydidving and you should find it. Be careful as when doing searches on me you can sometimes get all sorts of filth!
Anybody who is doing Cardiff Half on Sunday need a lift. I'll be leaving Hutton at around 7ish and returning reasonably promptish afterwards. This offer is open to anybody - even if you've forgotten/never knew who I am.
Can you be enticed by a free buffet & plenty of chocolate?! If so then please come along to help send out the race packs for the Christmas Cracker 10k.
Due to some of our regulars being away, the Cracker Committee need approximately 6-8 volunteers to assist in collating the race packs in readiness to post out to runners. The stuffing party is being held on Friday 29th October, at 6.30pm - venue; Weston Hospice (in Uphill). Your assistance would be hugely appreciated (given the number of race packs involved, i.e. in the region of 2000!). A buffet is kindly being provided by the Hospice on the evening, & well also provide a rather large tin of chocolates to keep those energy levels up (although youll have to get in there quick as Malcolm has been known to polish off at least half a tin on his own!).
Please let me know (either by email or speak to me after training) if you are able to help out on Friday 29th October, in order that I can collate numbers accordingly.
Many thanks in advance for your assistance!
